Arathusa's main living space was designed with guests' comfort in mind. Swim in the hotel pool while looking out over the natural watering hole; you might spot some wild game. Eat dinner in a traditional, open-air Boma; this is a unique way to enjoy dinner while looking up at the expansive, starry sky and listening to the sounds of the wildlife around you.

Eating at Arathusa is a social affair. Guests are treated to sumptuous dishes from the kitchen, including fresh produce and home-made desserts. At Ararhusa, portions are suited to appetite - one will not find haute cuisine. Enjoy Arathusa's version of ma se kombuis - Afrikaans for Mom's kitchen.
South Africa is renowned for its fresh produce - our fruits and vegetables are a primary export all over the world. Meat, venison and poultry are also first class.
For breakfast, guests can choose from a continental buffet or a hot, freshly-prepared dish from the chef. A rich lunch is prepared and served as well.
Dinner is a full, 4-course affair in the traditional African boma around a blazing fire (weather permitting).
Arathusa also keeps a variety of superior South African wines, produced locally in the surrounding vineyards.

No late checkouts are allowed, as the rooms have to be readied for the new arrivals.
Children policy:
Children under the age of 12 years are not allowed. Teenagers will be charged the full adult price.
