Recommended route from Johannesburg
Take the N12 to Witbank, then to Middleburg. Take the R540 to Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenburg, Origstad and drive through the Strydom Tunnel.
On approaching Hoedspruit, take the R531 to Klaserie, Acornhoek and then follow the signs for Sabi Sands to Gowrie Gate. Entrance is R80 per vehicle. Go directly to the camp you are booked into: Bush Lodge is 12km from the gate.
Getting there
Follow the Klaserie signs, at the T Junction turn left onto the R531, and follow the signs for Acornhoek. Then follow the signs for Sabi Sands to Gowrie Gate.
From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport
Take the R40 to White River, Hazyview, Bushbuckridge and Acornhoek. Then follow the signs for Sabi Sands to Gowrie Gate.
