We are committed to protecting our environment and making sure that the local community walks in our footsteps.
Induna Adventures is a founding member of ‘Sizabantwana', an AIDS orphan project, which looks after 800 OVS (orphans and vulnerable children) in our area. Our vision is to transform communities through:
- the provision of basic needs to OVCs and those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS
- providing training and educational activities for the community
- creating community development projects for self-sustainability
- giving children hope and skills for a brighter future, and
- building on and expanding the successes of Sizabantwana in other communities
Induna Adventures not only employs local staff, but it also empowers them in life and business skills through various courses and training programmes. We are dependent on our environment to form the base of all our activities; therefore, we are planting back as much as we can. Efforts include:
- Recycling biodegradable materials to produce fertilizer
- Re-establishing indigenous forests through our unique nursery project
- Educating staff and clients on our area's biodiversity and our role in it.
